Gigsta 71 Share Posted March 11 Horizon Networks - Update 2.9 Added Horizon Custom Phone We are pleased to announce that we have rolled out our new custom built phone. The phone has been tightly integrated with many of the existing Horizon activities, some of which is explained below in the list of initial apps and their features. With this release we are going to continue to include more features into the phone and work on integrating other existing activities into the phone. With that being said below are the list of apps and their features available on release. Apps Dialer The dialer application is responsible for everything phone calls. Keypad for creating new contacts or making a call directly to a number Recent calls, see inbound and outbound calls from others easily within the app including group calls. Contacts appear in the form of contact cards. From within contact cards you can edit, block, delete, share or even open directly into the messages app to start texting them. You can now include pictures for your contacts if you wish. All contacts have been migrated over. Recent calls have not been migrated over. Messages We took a new look into messages and how we want to see you all communicate. With messages you can continue to have 1:1 conversations with people but this update now includes group chats and group calls. The individual who starts a group chat will be considered the group owner and can add/remove users along with change the name of the group chat all of which update in real time. Any member of the group chat can begin a group call from within the group chat. We will look to expand functionality of this in the future to allow those who didn't pick up in time to join an ongoing group call. UI has been changed to clearly indicate non text based messages, for example GPS pings appear in bubbles and images require you to click to confirm if you wish to view the image. New conversations can be started from within the app simply by searching for the contact or contacts if you wish to create a group chat. If a conversation already exists with those contacts you will be directed to the existing conversation. Settings View your characters phone number Change your phones wallpaper. Ensure you use links that start with "https" and end with "png", "jpg", "jpeg", "gif", "webp", "mp4", "webm", "svg". Change your ringtone to any of the supplied tones. We will be taking reasonable suggestions for new ringtones to include in the phone. Note that others around you will hear the ringtone you have selected when they stand next to you. We know that there may be times where you don't want your phone to ring so you can silence your phone. You will still receive the notification popups but you won't be interrupting others around you. View your blocked contacts and remove them if you desire. Weazel News It has a new home, a place to view all new and existing articles. Weazel News employees can now create articles from within the application with the ability to preview the article before they publish. Articles now have view counts, as you navigate to an article you count as a view. Views are updated in real time so we look forward to seeing the interactions when new articles are published. Articles also have likes, as a character you can like an article and it too is updated in real time. Yapper Yapper is the new home of Twitter. Yapper is starting brand new so be quick and reserve your @handle before someone else does. Accounts now have profiles that anyone can view. Profiles include your handle, display name and bio. From a profile you can view the list of yaps from that account along with the yaps that account has liked. Notifications have three options. All, mentions or none. In the timeline you can view yaps in chronological order, see mentions of handles and if that handle exists click to go to their profile. Replying to a yap will render the replied yap in the body so everyone has context of what you are talking about. Creating new yaps can include text, text and image or just an image. You will also see a preview of your yap below before you send it. Vehicles You can now see a list of vehicles you own and where they are located within the various garages around the city. Ping the garage to mark it on the map View if the vehicle is parked or if the vehicle is out. Note if the vehicle is out the app will display the last garage the vehicle was located at. Banking View your accounts both primary and secondary View a list of outstanding bills you need to pay and in turn pay them View a list of recent transactions Send money to others from bank account to bank account. Use the cards to decide which account the money is being sent from. Notes Take notes of anything and everything taking advantage of the new editor for styling Notes save to the cloud in real time Pin your important notes Search for notes Whats next for the phone? Well as mentioned earlier we will continue to integrate more activities into the phone. We are going to be working on a new "Crew" application that will allow you to setup crews from wherever you are, allowing you to use your crew in activities to benefit from their group rewards. We will also be releasing an application to view your casino chips, N.2.O coin along with the ability to transfer chips and N.2.O coin to others. Uber will be moved to the phone as well allowing you to start being a driver or a rider. We have a lot of awesome ideas we want to include in the phone and as always we will keep an eye on the wishlist channel in discord for your ideas as well. Horizon Territories - (YouTube Gameplay & Features) Introducing Horizon Territories: a completely custom and unique territory / turf based system powered by your crews influence. This new addition allows any group to register to start claiming territory throughout the city through multiple different avenues of illegal activities. Use your groups influence to control your territory through upgrades, and collect income from the territories you have influence in. Visualise your influence through an interactive map found in the Horizon Operating System via a new USB. Complete missions and build influence to unlock new drug exports, weapons and more. War over valuable territories containing illegal laboratories where you and your group can master drug recipes and push them to increase influence in your own territory. All this, and more! What's next for territories? Territories was released a few weeks ago and since then we have seen everyone expand their claw on the city competing for turf. Seeing new groups set themselves up and compete against others has been refreshing to see to say the least. We have been fortunate enough to gather a lot of feedback from you all on new incentives to include for turf owners. New Conflict System: A new system for contesting priority territories will be introduced, utilizing numerous spots throughout the entire map, this conflict will give both sides a unique fight during each conflict taking place all across San Andreas. Territory Trophies: The drug game continues it's significance for territories, however, robberies will soon award Trophies that you can use within your territories to increase influence. Each robbery has it's own trophy and it's own influence value. Missions & Upgrades: We have plenty of new missions that are getting worked on and implemented in the very near future, including bulk drug exports, gold pressing & more! Casino We released the long awaited Diamond Casino since last change log but we best include it in here as well. The casino launch included many of your favorite games such as Blackjack, Roulette and Slots. Take your chances at the casino, play smart and if you need any tips and tricks don't bother asking Zepi. Bobcat Heist A new heist has been seen in the city. Find what is required to begin the heist and reap the rewards found within.
